I did the all shooting for my project and all of the editing. This project taught me the important of clean capture for audio. The LAV mic did not actually record any audio, so I had to use the camera audio, which included a lot of background noise. I also learned that it is important to have a clear plan for B-roll and to take more than I think I need. I think the best thing about this project is the subject. I think Jalen’s interview was spoke true to what a lot of men go through. If I could go back, I would ensure that the mic was picking up good audio. I think this piece would have been much more successful with better audio.
