HealHub Rehab App
I was tasked with creating the interface for a mobile app of my own creation. I chose to conceptualize an app that helps with injury recovery and maintains a clean design. A full walkthrough of the interface is included.
Project & Company Details
HealHub is a fictional rehabilitation app. It is all encompassing, there are wellness journals, rehab trackers, video tutorials, community forums, articles, and a rewards program. It offers multiple different way of motivation for people recovering from injury.
The Ask
I was tasked with creating an app and designing the user interface for the mobile app.
The Approach
I chose a topic that I am very familiar with. I play volleyball and spent about a year in recovery from a knee injury. I decided I would create an app that helps motivate people who are struggling with recovery. I thought the interface should be very straight forward since the contents of the app might be a lot to take in. I wanted the app to be easy to navigate while also being aesthetically pleasing.
Process
The images above show the research and planning that went into the app. I created both boards in Miro, the first one was just a sitemap to plan out how the pages were related. The second image is a personas study, I chose to be. very specific in order to determine how wide of a range of people this app may benefit and design an interface that would appeal to them all.
Below is a full walkthrough of the completed interface. The home page consists of shortcuts to the more frequently used pages, the rest are organized by relation and are very clear and self explanatory. I even included a section under the PointsHub section that explains the rewards system.
